The Professionalization of Exercise Physiologyonline, published by the American Society of Exercise Physiologists, is a professional peer reviewed Internet-based journal devoted to the identification and expansion of the profession of exercise physiology . The journal is directed by the Editor-In-Chief with supporting editorial assistance via Associate Editors who are knowledgeable in the field of exercise physiology. PEPonline is the first electronic peer reviewed professionalization journal in the history of the profession. It is founded for the purpose of disseminating professional concepts and philosophies as well as practical techniques and insights that can be used to enhance the practice of exercise medicine by board certified exercise physiologists. The Editors welcome both empirical and theoretical articles.
