Board of Directors
The Board of Directors, as stipulated by article IX of the "Articles of Incorporation of the American Society of Exercise Physiologists", consist of no fewer than three or more than 10 members:

The Board of Directors governs the Society by:
- Developing the goals and objectives of the Society.
- Selecting the Executive Officers to implement the goals and objectives of the Society, and
- Ensuring that the goals and objectives are carried out.
The Board of Directors selects the Executive Officers and Directors based on the needs of the Society and the suitability of the candidates to fulfill those needs. The Executive Officers and Directors of ASEP will serve until they resign or are replaced by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
