What is ASEP?
Regional SocietiesThe Society has authorized the development of 4 regional divisions:
The regional divisions are designed to achieve the following objectives:
- North Central Society
- North Atlantic Society
- Southern Society, and
Pacific and Mountain Society (including Alaska and Hawaii).
- To conduct and assist with various professional, educational, and public programs.
- To provide a member forum for discussion and development of the exercise physiology profession.
- To provide a professional setting for the presentation of research findings.
- To present educational and news materials for professional use.
- To introduce exercise physiology majors (students) to the Society through the development and support of institution-based student chapters of ASEP.
- To introduce non-member professionals to ASEP.
- To broaden the base of examination in career options.
To assist in the development of new in-roads into the clinical and rehabilitative careers.
