The
3rd
Annual
Meeting of ASEP has been
planned to provide a mix of workshops, research,
professional
issues, and site visitations that combine to improve on the
professional development of all exercise physiologists. The meeting commences
on the Thursday evening (September 28, 2000)
with a social gathering (5:30 to 7:30 pm) for interacting with colleagues,
exhibitors, and meeting Per-Olof Astrand. The meeting continues on
Friday morning at 9 am through to Saturday. Highlights of the meeting
will include the:

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST
WANTED

Since its founding in 1882, Children’s Memorial Hospital has been recognized
nationally for its excellent and comprehensive clinical care.
We have an excellent part
time opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join our cardiology team!
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the development
and implementation of the cardiac exercise lab and cardiac rehabilitation
program. Performing cardiac exercise testing in pediatric patients
with congenital and acquired heart disease or cardiac symptoms is a primary
focus.
Qualified applicants will
have a minimum of a bachelors degree in exercise science, public health
or related field, a minimum of 3-6 months exercise testing experience
and have PALS certification.
We offer a competitive salary
and comprehensive benefits package in a rewarding work environment.
This part time position of 20 hours per week is moderately flexible within
the following time frame: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-5:00 pm.
